Beyond the Silver Gate is an arena-fighting roguelite focused around semi-permanent minion gameplay in which the player acts to destroy enemies by exploiting the behaviour of their minions, supporting them with active abilities and scaling them with a slot-based stats system.

Try to keep your minions alive and yourself aslumber through various forays into the Dreamlands, visiting multiple stages each with their own quirks and challenges. Utilise several unique minions whose behaviours can be exploited and supported to maximise their capability, as well as an array of spells each with their own capacity for synergy through healing, buffs, debuffs, damage and crowd control to bring out the destructive potential of your growing horde.

Time ticks along, and while you will find yourself merely startling awake in your early ventures; the more powerful you become, the deeper you go, the more you learn, the less your mind can handle. On the shores of infinite, staring out into the black seas you will find either enlightenment or madness.

Beyond the Silver Gate is very much in a stage of experimentation and development; with some systems likely needing an overhaul, art-direction still to come after gameplay is in a good place, and balance in a state of flux. Feedback is extremely appreciated!

my best run so far

EDIT: Now I learned and can snowball

It is a great game, it really is. However the font is hard to read and small at least for me, I had to get over that one to enjoy it.

Thanks so much for playing! And I really appreciate the feedback, I think I got a bit enamoured with the font I'm using for the white-on-black parts, but it probably is too hard-to-read looking at it from your screenshots. I'll try to fix that up and make it easier on the eyes!
